Students must have completed Manicure module to complete this course. 

Course description

This Gel Polish course will introduce you to UV gel systems and teach you to apply gel polish. During the course you will also learn to remove the gel, provide customer aftercare and adapt your treatment to suit the needs of different clients.

This Gel Polish course will introduce you to UV gel systems and teach you to apply gel polish. During the course you will also learn to remove the gel, provide customer aftercare and adapt your treatment to suit the needs of different clients.

Upon successful application, students will, firstly, receive a course manual which they can refer back to. The theory modules are completed through distance learning. You will have full support available. The course covers the consultation, contra-indications, technique and aftercare needed to perform gel polish nail treatment.

You will then complete the remaining module in our luxury training academy. This will take the form of practical training and an examination. The tutor will demonstrate a gel polish treatment. Trainees will be expected to carry out a gel polish treatment on each other or on a model with support and guidance from the tutor. Upon completion of the training you will receive a Beauty Guild GTi Award and ACTA Diploma in Gel Polish Course, a certificate recognised by the main beauty insurance bodies.

Requirements

• You must have completed manicure module
• We will issue you an underpinning knowledge test. alongside the training manual, a week prior to the course. You must complete this least 2 days before the course commences.

Additional Information

To partake in our Gel Polish course you must have completed a manicure module. If you are yet to do this, have a look at our Manicure course.

All course dates require a minimum of 4 attendees or may have to be rescheduled.
