This Hot Stone massage course will teach you how to use heated and chilled stones to affect a chemical release within the body. During the course you will gain an understanding of the benefits of Geothermotherapy, as well as massage mediums and using specific hot stone massage techniques.

Upon successful application, students will receive a course manual which they can refer back to. The theory modules are completed through distance learning with full support available. The course covers the consultation, contra-indications, technique and aftercare needed to perform hot stone massage treatment and is written following the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for holistic therapy treatments.

The remaining module consists of a day of practical training and examination which is to be completed in our luxury training academy. Hot stone massage is demonstrated by the tutor. Trainees will be expected to carry out a hot stone massage on each other or on a model with support and guidance from the tutor. Upon completion of the training you will receive a certificate recognised by the main beauty insurance bodies.

Requirements 

• Completed massage module
• An underpinning knowledge test will be issued alongside the training manual, a week prior to the course. This must be completed at least 2 days before the course commences.

Additional Information
