Course description

This Foot Reflexology Accreditation course will teach you how to read and interpret the feet using pressure to specific reflexes on the feet that correspond to specific organs and structures of the body. These techniques help to encourage holistic healing. The course will teach you everything you need to know to carry out professional treatments to the high standards of The Academy of Clinical Training.

Upon successful application, students will receive a course manual which they can refer back to. The theory modules are completed through distance learning with full support available. The course covers the consultation, contra-indications, technique and aftercare needed to perform foot reflexology treatment and is written following the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for holistic therapy treatments.

The remaining module consists of a day of practical training and examination which is to be completed in our luxury training academy. Foot reflexology is demonstrated by the tutor. Trainees will be expected to carry out foot reflexology treatment on each other or on a model with support and guidance from the tutor. Upon completion of the training you will receive a Beauty Guild GTi Award and ACTA Diploma, a certificate recognised by the main beauty insurance bodies.

Requirements 

• An underpinning knowledge test will be issued alongside the training manual, a week prior to the course. This must be completed at least 2 days before course commences.

All course dates require a minimum of 4 attendees or may have to be rescheduled.
